KILLZONE FIELD GUIDE / FLY TOGETHER

Fly together in a multiplayer FPV simulator.

YOUR NEXT FLIGHT STARTS HERE

Fly together in shared free flight, race through gates online, or take on other pilots in the daily featured PvP—player-versus-player—mode. Follow the Leader remains in beta. Play in a desktop browser without a download, or use the iPhone and iPad app with a supported controller.

Killzone Pro is optional.

Practice, race, or chase

Online freestyle is a shared space to explore, try tricks, and fly together without a timer. Online Race puts pilots on a timed course of gates; Offline Race remains available for solo practice. A Pro pilot can also host a private race for friends.

In Follow the Leader, one player leads the group and drops gates for everyone else to fly through. Miss a gate’s deadline and you are out. It is in beta, so expect some changes as we improve it.

Pick your kind of drone combat

Capture the Flag, Conquest, and Battle Royale rotate through one public combat slot, changing each day. Private lobbies can choose any of them.

You can jump into today's public match for free. If you are new to FPV, spend a little time in freestyle first—being able to turn, slow down, and hold your height makes combat much more fun.

What is free, and what is Pro?

You can start without an account and play public online modes for free. Online free flight has the same map selection as Free Maps for solo flying; today's combat mode has its own map selection.

Killzone Pro is an optional upgrade. It adds more solo maps and drones, lets you host private games, and includes saved settings across devices and access to player stats and global rankings. The homepage has the full list of Pro extras.

Play with a friend

Choose the same public mode and check the lobby details to see whether you are together. If a lobby is full or a round has already started, you may not be able to fly together straight away. For a game with your own group, a Pro pilot can host a private lobby and share its join link.

You do not need a real drone or goggles. An FPV radio or gamepad gives you two sticks for smoother control, but you can also try the simulator with a mouse and keyboard.

Playing on iPhone or iPad?

Get the Killzone FPV iOS app and connect a supported Apple Game Controller or a compatible ExpressLRS radio using Wi-Fi Joystick. Mobile touch controls are not supported for flight.

For online multiplayer with an ExpressLRS radio, put the radio and your iPhone or iPad on the same home Wi-Fi network. Direct Radio Wi-Fi is quicker to set up for local practice, but the radio network may have no internet connection. Follow the iOS setup guide to connect and calibrate all four controls.

QUICK ANSWERS

Common questions

Is Killzone FPV multiplayer free?

Yes. You can play public multiplayer without an account or payment. Killzone Pro is optional; it adds extras such as hosting private games and access to global rankings.

What does the Follow the Leader beta label mean?

You can play it now, but we are still improving it. Expect the occasional rough edge and changes to the rules as we learn from players.

Is every drone another person?

Not always. Some modes include bots—computer-controlled pilots—so you have someone to fly with when fewer people are online. They are marked as bots in the lobby.
